Contact Lenses are an optional and personal choice. It is not included in the Full Comprehensive Eye Exam as everyone does not need to wear contact lenses. There will be an additional fee associated with the Contact Lens Fitting and/or training.
During a Contact Lens Fitting the Optometrist will fit you in the most comfortable Contact Lens best suited for you. If you have never worn contact lenses before, we provide training on how to take care of them and how to safely put them in and take them out.
Contact Lenses are a great alternative if you are getting tired of wearing glasses everyday. Contact lenses are also great for those high prescription wearers or individuals with corneal irregularities.
There are a few options you can choose from that best suit your day-to-day schedule. You may choose to wear them full time, part time or just for special occasions!
A Contact Lens Prescription is just like a Glasses Prescription. They both have an expiry date of one-year and would always need to be updated annually.
There are different types of Contact Lenses, and this depends on how often you'll be wearing them and how well your contact lens hygiene is.
