Our Optometrist is able to examine children starting from 6 months old, all the way to the age of 65 years and older! As we have four Optometrists, every doctor's hours vary. We continue to work our way to give our patients a consistent time to be open daily along with doctor's hours.
Yogesh Patel, OD
Dr. Patel was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He graduated in 2011 from the State University of New York (SUNY) College of Optometry, where he was trained to perform optometry with a heavy influence in Binocular Vision and Vision Therapy.
From his success, he currently manages two full serviced Optometry Clinics here in Calgary, including Bridgeland Crossings Optometry and Saddletowne Optometry. During his practice, he acts as a Clinical Externship Supervisor for Optometry Students from the University of Waterloo. He is devoted in giving his interns the opportunity to further their education and gaining hands on full scope practice in Calgary.
Dr. Patel strives to practice full scope optometry. His practices are equipped with several tools to aid in diagnosis and treatment of several eye conditions. This includes, management of dry eyes, irregular corneal disease, diabetic/hypertensive ocular health exams. He excels in giving his patients a knowledgeable understanding of their eye examination.
Dr. Patel is a member of both the Canadian Association of Optometrists and the Alberta Association of Optometrists.
Emily Krienke, OD
Emily was born in British Columbia, where she lived briefly before moving to Saskatchewan. Her family resided there for several years until they chose to settle in Calgary. She began her path to optometry by graduating summa cum laude with a degree in Biomedical Sciences at Oklahoma City University, where she played softball. She then continued to the University of Waterloo, where she completed her Doctor of Optometry degree with honours and the A.W. Cole Award for Clinical Excellence.
She is passionate about providing care to patients of all ages from all walks of life. While at the University of Waterloo (UW) she was a member of various volunteer groups, including VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity), and participated in a mission trip to Nicaragua, providing medical treatment and prescription glasses to those in need. Her schooling also included an externship at Jack C. Montgomery Veteran Affairs Hospital in Oklahoma, where she was trained extensively in ocular disease management.
Emily is a member of the Alberta College of Optometrists, Alberta Association of Optometrists, Calgary Society of Optometrists, and Canadian Association of Optometrists. She is happy to be able to return home to Calgary and serve the local community.
Ravnoor Gill, OD
Dr. Ravnoor Gill was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta and developed a keen interest in Optometry. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and a minor is Chemistry from the University of Calgary, she then pursued her degree in Optometry graduating from the University of Manchester.
Upon graduation, Dr. Gill returned home and has been practicing in Calgary ever since. She is experienced with patients ranging from small children to seniors.
Dr. Gill is fluent in Punjabi and has working knowledge of Hindi and Urdu. Her goal is to consistently provide patient care of the highest quality.
